Fam,
I just received this from Rochelle Barash - she is apparently threatening me
for what I do not know.
fyi I never contacted her other than to send her a cease and desist letter about six months ago.
where this came from I do not know but I am going to start paying attention to her, closely.
I suggest You use absolute care when dealing with her.
as you can see she's got some issues.

Digital Reggae
Inspiration for this 2 year anniversary mixtape comes courtesy of Relaxxx who (like so many before him) got in touch to say that mixtape 5 was his favourite so far - what is it with that techdub compilation?! Well he liked the fact that it was more “electro” than usual which got me thinking about early dancehall, and the fact that I hadn’t yet featured that more digital end of the reggae spectrum…

The second of two Bristol mixtapes to recently reach Spannered is a thoroughly enjoyable romp through reggae, ska and 8-bit territory.
DubConscious is the alter ego for Bristol-based DJ Merkazoid, a young selector currently pushing the laptop reggae sound in the southwest of England. A convert from hip hop to bone-rattling Bristol bass and future dub, Mr Merkazoid tells us he's been busily knocking out six-hour reggae, ska and dub sets about the city. Stuffed to th… Continue

Bristol-based dub and dancehall don Dub Boy returns to Spannered with a second speaker-quaking mix-up of bassline styles.
Hot on the heels of his mix for Spannered from October last year, Tim Rayner, aka Dub Boy, graces the site’s radio section once more, this time dropping a wide range of original and contemporary roots, dub & dancehall, from both Jamaica and Europe — with plenty of Bristolian goodness sprinkled… Continue
